MINISTER WITH HONOR

With wickedness already clinging to their bones, the Sanggunian members through coercion and threats are turning their workers into robots in obeying them without thinking or hesitation. For if they refuse to do so, not only are they removed but, together with their family they will be expelled. And worse still, in case they might pose as threat to the Sanggunian, even their life including that of their family, will be endangered. These warning, threats and pressures are too much a deterrent for them to even think of standing up for righteousness and truth. They are too afraid to be included in the growing list of expelled ministers with their families. Hence, majority of them assented and conform to whatever direction this wind of change is heading, so as not to lose their present position and status. Without realizing, that they are being pushed to the edge of a cliff that will lead to their death. The brethren that they supposed to oversee and take care of, and is looking upon them with high esteem, are betrayed because they are systematically forced to acquiesce and subscribe to every whim and caprice of the corrupt and evil leader who thinks of nothing but to exploit the faithful by utilizing these minion workers.

Hence, those who are willing to stand firm on God’s righteousness, never be afraid of them. Be valiant, never allow the elected to scatter and wander dumbfounded, wondering what is really happening. Its about time to demonstrate dignity and integrity that marks a true minister, don’t submit to the forces of evil. You are a minister of the Lord God whatever happens, be fearless in doing good and timid in committing sin. Even if you are made to suffer injustice, wrongfully dismissed because you resist following orders that do not conform with the will of God. Do not be afraid to step down or be expelled even if they include your family. Rather than yield to a corrupt and evil administration. You will leave your assignment. Although the faithful will be depressed but the people of God will be proud of you because you chose to be a MINISTER WITH HONOR. They can boast that you keep the reputation of your MINISTRY untainted with dirt. You will exit from your office because they took off your Ministerial Suit, but not the calling with approbation from Heaven conferred to you by the Executive Minister of the CHURCH OF CHRIST. It will be with you wherever you go.

But for those who are coward, how long can you bear if the weekly alms that you receive is laden with deduction for things which they force you to take? Even during the time of brother Eraño G. Manalo, irregularities like these are not kept secret to him. Hence, he reacted toughly in reprimanding the perpetrators, but counsel them with a soft heart. But to those proven to be troublesome, some were even removed, to decontaminate and warn the others. What is strange about this is that, when brother Eraño G. Manalo was laid to rest, they are quickly reinstated to office. The misery is that they bring along with them seven more evil spirits thus, posing defection effectively. This was foretold by brother Eraño G. Manalo:

“... At a time when Judgment Day is very near, great persecution will happen, not from outside but within and inside the Church. YOUR FAITH WILL BE VIOLENTLY SHAKEN. At this time, the Lord God enjoins us to hold on to Him tightly. Apostasy will be imminent but because the Church is well-founded, the brethren are aware about the true doctrines, evil will not triumph. God will restore everything in the right time.” — Bro. Eraño G. Manalo.

This pronouncement has been fulfilled, our faith were violently shaken .. with alarming events that transpired in the Church. With grievances from ministers and from brethren in different parts of the world seeking for a righteous solution. Looking for encouragement and counsel that will make them firm and strong. Because they suffer from persecutions not from outside but from within the Church … from the fierce leader that administer them. But Bro. Eraño G. Manalo assures that the Church of Christ is well-founded, specially among the faithfuls who are aware of the true doctrines, evil will not triumph over them. Hence, my dear brethren, do not lose hope nor be weakened, for this is God’s way to cleanse and restore all things. There is no more apostasy! The Bible assures, the CHURCH OF CHRIST will be victorious.

My brother, only a little more time, even if you have troubles or if you are among those expelled, delisted because of what you know and stand for. Do not worry. The truth is your expulsion is only a process perpetrated by man, but it is not the process of the Lord God. You will get back in time! The Lord God will restore everything when the right time comes and it would not be long. So what will be the reason to discontinue attending the worship service? Never think of it my dear brother! Even if they deny you the right to attend the worship service, you can still worship our Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ even at your home. Have a solemn prayer, ask for strength and sturdiness. I am telling you, you can feel him … The Holy Spirit will accompany you. And the power of the Lord God and the Lord Jesus Christ will fill your home, to protect and watch over you. You, who earnestly believe in these words, look up to heaven right now, and approach our Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ in prayer … carry out what I’m telling you, do it earnestly with your all your heart, and the Holy Spirit will bear witness to you now. My brother after reading this, our Lord Jesus Christ tells you the fortune waiting for someone like you.

MATTHEW 5:1-20

1 And seeing the multitudes, He went up on a mountain, and when He was seated His disciples came to Him. 2 Then He opened His mouth and taught them, saying: 3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 4 Blessed are those who mourn, For they shall be comforted. 5 Blessed are the meek, For they shall inherit the earth. 6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled. 7 Blessed are the merciful, For they shall obtain mercy. 8 Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God. 9 Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God. 10 Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11 “Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. 12 Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you. 13 “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. 14 “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lamp stand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. Teaching regarding the Laws of God. 17 “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. 18 For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. 19 Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.
